PROGRAM OF STUDY

 

Associate In Biblical Studies Degree

 

Objectives

 

This program of study will provide a Major in Biblical Studies.  Upon completion of the program the student will be established in the Scriptures, understanding the principle doctrines of the Bible.  He/she will have a good understanding of the ministry of the local church as well as the mission to the world.  He/she will have a true comprehension of God’s plan for man and the world, and have the skills to effectively witness and minister the Gospel in his/her own ministry and calling.

 

Course Requirements

 

In order to graduate with an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies, the student must have satisfactorily completed the following requirements:

 

1.  A minimum of 60 Credits for program completion 

 

2.  Orientation Requirements

 

3.  A minimum of 14 Elective Credits

 

4.  A minimum of 14 Practical Application Credits

 

5.  A minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0

 

6.  All financial obligations settled with Vintage Bible College

 

7.  Recommendation by the faculty for graduation

          Pastoral Ministry:

                   Biblical Principles of Leadership

                   Marriage and the Family

                   Evangelism

                   Speech and Communication

                  

Christian Counseling:

   Introduction to Christian Counseling                       

 

Christian Education:

   Introduction to Composition
