PROGRAM OF STUDY

 

Bachelor of Christian Education Degree  

 

Objectives

 

This Program of study will provide a Major in Christian Education.  Upon completion of the program the student should have a deepened knowledge of the Bible and a thorough knowledge of education in the local church.  The student will have an understanding of the learning processes for children through adults including the ministries of the local church in maturing the saints for the work of ministry.

 

Course Requirements

 

In order to graduate with a Bachelor of Christian Education Degree, the student must have satisfactorily completed the following requirements:

1. Pre-requisite:  Associate degree in related field (or equivalent)

 

2. A minimum of 61 credit hours

 

3. A minimum of 6 elective credits

 

4. Orientation Requirements

 

5. A minimum overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0

 

6. All financial obligations settled with Vintage Bible College

 

7. Recommendation by the faculty for graduation
